In 1996, we discovered in a remote valley of Central Tibet the origin, named after the region Wangden -carpets, and felt encouraged by these carpets to be restore. We found weaver families who remembered the ancient manufacturing tradition and gave first pieces in order to find in hopes imitators, and revive this tradition, widely, and succeeded from today's perspective.
